Steelhead

Mark’s favorite: big, wild, steelhead.

Our staff of professional and experienced Kenai River Guides is here to make sure your visit to the Kenai River and surrounding waters is everything you expected from your fishing vacation and more! With more than twenty-four years of daily fishing experience on the Kenai River, Kasilof River, and all flowing waters of the Kenai Peninsula, Veteran Guide Mark Glassmaker has selected a wide range of epic Alaska Fishing adventures for all anglers to enjoy.

Turbo Beav

A turbine beaver from AWA departs from Big River Lake.

In addition to Kenai river guides, we also provide Alaska fly out fishing guides to accompany you on any number of remote same day Alaska Fly Out adventures to the West Side of Cook Inlet and the main Alaska Peninsula. For many years we have traveled to extreme locations with Alaska West Air, the premier flight service in Alaska. Our Alaska Fly Out guides and pilots have discovered the most prolific and prime Alaska salmon runs throughout the summer, assuring your one day trip to the bush is a huge success! No trip to the Kenai River is complete without also experiencing the boundless beauty and untouched Alaska fishing opportunities afforded by taking an Alaska Fly Out.

Halibut

A good eater halibut from Cook Inlet.

The Kenai Peninsula is also ideally located nearby Alaska’s most prolific salt water fishing.  From Seward to Homer and Cook Inlet in between, we are blessed with great halibut fishing and we have proven and reliable captains in all of these locations.  Trips vary greatly including some that offer multi-species and even overnight options so if ocean fishing is part of your plans, let us help you plan the best trip possible. Tides, especially in Cook Inlet, are very important for good halibut fishing.
