.Our main lodge and cabins are located five miles upriver from the town of Soldotna, Alaska. We have several fully furnished vacation homes of our own and we also rent a number of other privately owned residences close by, many also on or near the Kenai River. All of our lodging and fishing guests enjoy exclusive access to our 2+ acres of Kenai River Frontage for fishing on their own or just relaxing on the riverbank.
While the Kenai River is mostly known for its larger than average king salmon, the Kenai and surrounding Kenai Peninsula waters also offer world class salmon fishing for sockeye, silver, and pink salmon as well as steelhead trout. In addition to the salmon and steelhead, the Kenai is also home to a world class trophy trout fishery where rainbows over the thirty inch mark are not uncommon.
In addition to all these spectacular fresh water fishing options, the Kenai Peninsula is also adjacent some of the most prolific salt water fisheries in all of Alaska. Excellent bottom fishing opportunities for halibut, ling cod as well as rockfish abound in coastal waters outside Homer, Seward and Deep Creek. Certain times of the season also offer the opportunity to fish for both halibut and salmon in the same trip and this is a great chance to really fill up the freezer.
